SOS (Southwest Organization for Sustainability) is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Their Mission is to promote a sustainable community with a primary focus in Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County.
The group grew out of a group of environmentally, concerned citizens in Archuleta county, who in 2008 formed the Southwest Organization for Sustainability. Founder and Chair, Denise Rue-Pastin, is an environmental professional who decided to take action by forming the group after repeated “What can we do?” inquires. Their membership now stands at roughly 150 members. They are supported solely through memberships and donations.

The magazine features political coverage, news about the arts, business and education, humor, essays, photography and video news. We are supported by advertisements… and by donations from folks who love what we write and post…

Hot Springs Healers
Dean Sanna and Amanda Beasley have traveled the western hemisphere sharing their knowledge about yoga, qi gong, and meditation.
HotSpringsHealers.com, another of our custom “responsive” websites, emerged out of Amanda and Dean’s mutual love of being in the water, especially hot springs water. Both of them have a background in extreme sports — and water therapy has been an active part of their training and recovery regime for decades.
